WELCOME TO W10 CRICKET
For women and older girls, softball cricket is a fun and friendly way to make new friends, learn a new skill, and get active.
We are very welcoming to anyone who would like to have a go. You can start with joining in the training sessions, then there are fun festivals, and there is also a league - find the level that's right for you.
You don't need any kit, and the games are run in a short format to be accessible for even the newest to cricket.
Some of us have children or partners who play cricket, and find ourselves watching a lot of games, and decided we wanted to have a go ourselves.
Others have played in school, or even on the beach when we were younger. There's a place for you, whatever your level of fitness or cricket knowledge.
Training
Summer training is on expected to be on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Check Teamo calendar for exactly when which session is happening.
During the winter we hire a sports hall for some indoor sessions.
Festivals
Festivals are fun and sociable and are all about getting active, learning new skills, laughing with friends, and meeting new people. There's usually tea and cake, and even prosecco.
Indoor and outdoor festivals take place throughout the year.
League
The league competition has matches between local W10 teams, which are normally played on Sunday afternoons. We play in the Hampshire W10 Central Division.
Again, the match rules are adapted to make an inclusive game for those new or improving their skills.
Join in
We would love to have you join us with no up front commitment needed. You'll find us a very welcoming group.
