WELCOME TO U9 A SQUAD

Our U9 Reds are mainly for our Y4 players who are enjoying being confident in the game and looking for a challenge.

They play in the U9 Tier 1 South League of the Serious Cricket Hampshire Junior Championship.

This is a pairs format game with a soft ball and light bat. 6-8 players play in pairs (starting score of 200 runs) bowling 2 overs each and batting for 4 overs in their pair. If the fielding team get a player out, the batters simply change ends and they lose 5 runs. This is a great way to learn the fundamentals of match play.
